Relax at Lovely Farm in Puglia, simply surrounded by the scents, sounds and colors of the countryside.
The masseria suite
The suite is on the main courtyard of the farm and is equipped with living room, bathroom with shower and a small kitchen. The room with traditional fireplace overlooking our vineyard.
The suite also has a private garden for exclusive use.
Junior suite & classic camera
The bedrooms were made out of old stone stables with traditional barrel vaults. The first one is a spacious room opening onto an inner courtyard on one side and onto an olive grove on the other. The second one is a junior suite with the same exposure plus a small living room and a veranda. Each room has air conditioning, fridge-bar and Internet WiFi.
Our guests are offered the chance to sleep in suites in the traditional ‘trulli’ (typical stone houses with a pointed roof). The two spacious stone-walled suites right in the middle of nature are surrounded by olive, almond, peach and cherry trees as well as Indian fig trees.
They have an exclusive private garden where the respect of architectonic tradition melts with comfortable country furnishing.
A spacious stone room made out of an old stable opening onto the olive grove where to go through some of the most important stages of my carreer. Among the important memorabilia on display you will find the body of Mansell’s F1 Ferrari, winner of Brasil’s GP.
The Ferrari room is at our guests disposal for leisure and didactic activities.
The 50-square-metre suites have air conditioning, a little kitchen and Internet WiFi.
On the 27-hectare farmland at Farm we grow anything from premium quality extra-virgin olive oil to “primitivo” wine, corn, vegetables, cheese, fruit and eggs from our own hens. Every season offers its products and some of them like tomato sauce, jam, figs and dried broad beans are then traded locally.
Here we have our own water from the well, walnuts, almonds, chestnuts, capers, chickpeas, lupins and flour from our own corn (Senatore Capelli variety), which is the main ingredient of the typical local pasta “orecchiette pugliesi”.
At Farm you will find a shop selling the 0km organic products from the farm, all certified.
For bike and running lovers there are wonderful paths stretchig through olive groves, farms and ‘trulli’ – typical local stone houses with a pointed roof – far from the traffic. For those who are passionate about horse riding, the nearby manèges will offer you the chance of an unforgettable ride in the middle of nature. A trekking path in our wood will make you forget the tensions caused by the city stress. Puglia is famous for its music and traditional dance ‘pizzica’! Experienced dancers will teach classes in the farmyard passing on to you the passion for this old dance, while for music lovers we suggest percussion classes. Cookery classes are held to teach our guests how to make ‘focaccia’ (kind of flat bread), orecchiette (typical local pasta) and other local gastronomic specialities.
Farm is located between Ostuni and Ceglie Messapica’s marvellous old town centres in the province of Brindisi. Ostuni – known as ‘the white town’ – is world famous and Ceglie Messapica with its starred restaurants and age-old olive trees has always been considered the capital of Puglia’s cuisine.
In between the Adriatic Sea and the Ionian Sea, Farm is in a strategic position to visit some of Puglia’s most beautiful villages as Cisternino, Martina Franca, Alberobello, Locorotondo and Francavilla Fontana, all of them just a few kilometres away.
For sea lovers, we recommend the wonderful Torre Guaceto – Marine Nature Reserve – within about 25 minutes.
